The issue with harmful individuals is not a problem at all. They are who they are. They made their beds, and you must allow them to sleep in them. We are all entitled to live the lives that we have actually chosen.

However the issue is, when you define them as hazardous individuals, you trigger a chain response in your mind that ensures that their toxicity leaks into your mind. Unfavorable as they are, and no matter just how much distance you would like, some of it leaks in.

Why? Well, due to the fact that of your choices. Unfavorable people are just unfavorable because you made them unfavorable.

Self Care

I am a bit consumed with my animals. And I make sure if you had a pet dog and a bunny, you 'd be consumed with them too. Abby (pet dog) and Niblet (bunny) are well-behaved, extremely social and have a great deal of character. Abby is very popular in the neighborhood and the other dogs consider her a celeb. Many family pet parents (or any moms and dad) hate leaving their kids when it is time to go to work and I was one of them. Lots of mornings I would believe, I just desire to be a stay at house family pet parent.

I have actually been fortunate to deal with a great deal of terrific individuals, but cubicle life didn't appear to fit me anymore. I felt the work I was doing could be done from a house. I would take a vacation and feel revitalized for a couple of days and then burnout would return. In the back of my mind I constantly thought how good it would be to be my own employer. Being able to sometimes come home for lunch and walk my pet dog kept me going on bad days.
It ended up being harder and harder to go back to the workplace.

Abby did an excellent job of making me feel guilty whenever I would leave, whether it was in the early morning or throughout a lunch go to. I knew one day I would discover the ideal situation to make a change, I simply didn't understand how soon. The corporate mentality of being a number on a spreadsheet and a body to fill a task was getting old. Doing the work of 3 individuals was enough to make me turn in my resignation.

When that letter was sent out, I felt entirely elated. I began counting down the days until I was relaxation free. Every morning I thought, I will not need to leave house to go to work every early morning very soon. Only 5 more days, 4 more days, 3 more days, etc

. During my last week, I started to put my office together. Among the most essential pieces was a pet bed. The only obstacle I'm discovering right now is that Abby wants to sit on my lap as I'm working. I allow it sometimes, how could I not.

It was a tough transition to make, but I have absolutely no regrets. The happiness and freedom I feel outweighs any fear and operating in my office where my furry kids run around is my sort of task!
